Meet Rhian

You love your child more than you ever thought possible.
Your heart feels like it could burst.

But you’re exhausted. You’re dreading bedtime. You’re waking every hour.
You refuse to leave your baby to cry — but you don’t know what else to do.

You’ve Googled.
You’ve taken well-meaning advice.
You’ve tried things that didn’t sit right.

And now you feel overwhelmed.

I completely understand — because I’ve been there too.

My Story

I was deeply sleep deprived during my second maternity leave.

I had a baby who was waking every hour.

A four-year-old needing us to lay with him at bedtime, and sometimes getting up in the night.

Long days parenting on broken sleep. And I was not being the mum I wanted to be. I remember feeling short-tempered. Snappy. Drained. I dreaded the nights and dragged myself through the days.

Going to baby groups and hearing other Mums talk of their baby sleeping through made me feel envious. What was I doing wrong?

At one point I was convinced that his poor sleep was down to reflux, so we took him to the GP. We got prescribed Gaviscon, which didn’t make much difference. I tried pick up put down, which resulted in both of us crying. Something had to change.

Once we made the decision to work on sleep, I immediately felt a bit better. We were doing something about it.

And the change it brought around was amazing.

Firstly for him - he was now getting the sleep he needed, and this made him so much happier.

We were then able to work on independent bedtime for my eldest - I had more patience and capacity to do this because I was getting good sleep.

And us as parents got our lives back. To get a solid 8 hours sleep consistently is priceless when you’ve endured 6 months of hourly waking

How I Became a Holistic Sleep Coach

That experience led me to train as a Holistic Sleep Coach, leaving my career in the pharmaceutical industry to support families full-time.

Holistic sleep coaching looks at the whole child — not just how they fall asleep.

Because babies aren’t problems to fix. They’re little humans with physical, emotional, relational and psychological needs.

My training draws on expertise from:

  • Paediatric occupational therapists

  • Paediatricians

  • Doulas and play therapists

  • Specialists in anxiety, mental health, allergy and epigenetics

It’s one of the most comprehensive sleep programmes available — and it allows me to create evidence-based, realistic and age-appropriate plans for each family I work with.

My Approach

Here’s what you can expect from me:

  • No cry-it-out

  • No controlled crying (or disguised versions of it)

  • No rigid, one-size-fits-all schedules

  • No ignoring your instincts

Instead, I take time to understand:

  • Your child’s temperament

  • Your family dynamics

  • Feeding, environment, routine and lifestyle

  • What feels aligned for you as a parent

Infants and small children deserve responsive care.
Parents deserve respect, honesty and real choices.

You will always get both here.

If You’re Ready

If you’re at the point where sleep is affecting your mood, your relationship, or the kind of parent you want to be — you don’t have to keep surviving.

I’d love to support you inside the Gentle Sleep Reset, where we create calm, sustainable change without compromising your values.
